An absolutely beautiful story and movie, I highly recommend it and it is a movie the entire family can watch. No bad words, no inappropriate content doesn't matter the age 2 to 100 years old can watch this family entertainment.
To think what this family must have gone through, I believe it is their only child at least that is what the movie implied there was never a sibling in the movie.
This movie brings out every emotion imaginable, kudo's to the actors they did a great job. I will say, make sure to have tissues available, I think it will be hard for any woman to watch this and not shed a tear.
I rated this movie a 10/10 because I believe it achieved every emotion it wanted the audience to feel. That to me is what movies should be about, and I am glad this movie achieved it.
I will be recommending this movie to all my relatives and friends, it is a movie everyone can watch.

Very nice story. Horrible acting, barely any emotion unless it was from the father or older actors. Main protagonist doesn't look like a teen and the transitioning between scenes was very odd. One moment he's in the hospital and the next hour they're going to operate without the dads permission? In what world does that happen. No attention to detail. But the dialogue, the dialogue is a real kicker... it is terrible. Movie is all of over the place. Had a lot of potential but with a low budget I guess there is not much to expect. The real story is very inspiring and this movie falls short of that.
I was just blown away by how inspiring this movie is, so much so my wife and I have watched the movie 3 times already and we still cry in the same scenes in the movie even though we know what is coming. To me, that just shows how great a movie this truly is.
It shows how much a community can make a difference in a child's life. I would recommend this to anyone of faith and family, it is without a doubt a must watch movie. To think that Brycen's high school and its community came together to help save this young man's life is just amazing.
I thought Daniel Roebuck and Kathy Peterson "Ed & Marilyn Hanson" did a wonderful job as husband and wife and kept a very difficult subject light hearted which allowed you to laugh after you just finished wiping the tears away. Other great performances were Eddie McClintock "Rick Newman," Brennan Hunt "Alex," Nick Avila "Miles Himmel," they all did a fantastic job. The only critique would be Kory Gettman "Brycen Newman" some of his acting was way over the top, and I wish there were more scenes with Dean Cain "Dr. Getty" in them. The woman ER doctor Christin Jezak "Dr. Sam," sure did make you want to punch her, so she did a great job if that is how the role was written.
I did check and this is a true story, you can google Brycen Newman and brain cancer and see all the news articles and news video clips to see what really happened and it looks like the movie really captured what this poor young man actually went through. I can't even begin to understand what Brycen's parents went through, but through their faith and the faith of Brycen's high school community it was a story book ending.
I couldn't disagree with the other user review more regarding the incorporation of Rachel Platten's "Fight song" at the end of the movie. I have 3 relatives that have dealt with cancer and they have all said that this song is what fighting cancer is all about. Kudo's to the producer for using it at the end when Brycen was healed. As my sister Julie says, taking back your life from cancer is all you want to do, because cancer takes so much of your life in the first place.
This is a 10 out of 10 rating for me, I wish there were more movies like this. I have recommended it to my kids and friends, I recommend you watch it also!
If you believe in Faith and Family you definitely need to watch this movie, and it doesn't matter if you are a man or a woman bring some tissues, this is one of those movies that hits you right in the heart!
On a side note, I would like to buy that Mustang! What a show stopper!

I was just amazed at how beautiful this movie is and should be watched by all individuals that believe in God and the goodness of the people in this world.
First the story in itself is just so beautiful and the actors really brought this story home to show the emotions of a child that is diagnosed with cancer, let alone brain cancer. I commend the Newman family and the school community for showing the world never to give up on God and that prayer actually works and all things can be accomplished if you have faith.
This movie definitely brings out all range of emotions, one minute you are excited Brycen's team won the game and the next minute you are crying because of a horrible cancer diagnosis. I thought Daniel Roebuck kept you smiling and laughing, when the movie needed it most. I give credit to all the actors for doing such a great job pulling the emotions out that the movie is portraying.
This is without a doubt a must watch for those people of faith, don't listen to the naysayers that want to tear down faith and religion. This is a beautiful movie with an incredible true story. I highly recommend it for all ages, especially those individuals of faith. This movie restores your faith in God and humanity.

Two thing I'm not a catholic and this is heavy with it. However, this film.was wonderful made. It showed the power of love and prayer. It showed that not all works in our timing but his .
The actors all did a wonderful job. Many of them have been in other faith based films and even mainstream movies.
I loved the older couple and the father was just wow.. .. The fact that one person could bring so many people together is amazing and a mircle without the biggest one of them all. They got the color of the car wrong for sure when looking at the real pictures at the end. I also personally feel like they choose the wrong song at the end A mircle happens and you play a song about a person whom doesnt.care if anyone else is there and wants to do it alone. They should have choosen a more faith based song ..

- TriviaThe real Brycen Newman is in multiple scenes in the movie: he is baseball player "#4 Lombardi"; he is a football coach in the weight-lifting scene; he is in the prayer scene right below the actor playing him; and he plays an orderly in the hospital.
- GoofsWhen looking at the so-called '67 Mustang, it's actually a '65 Mustang. Big difference between the two if you know anything about Mustangs.
