Tank's smartgun is an exact replica of those used in James Cameron's sci-fi Classic, Aliens. Brett Manyluk, the 6'5" actor who plays the character, built the fully functioning contraption himself from a steadicam rig, motorcycle grips and a coffee can.
The big fight scene between Wolf and Hookface was originally to be worked out, learned and rehearsed for over nearly two hours on set, but a rapidly encroaching thunderstorm forced Fight Choreographer Randy Brososky (Pat) to develop and teach the elaborate moves and get the actors camera ready in less than 15 minutes. Even so, the final take was cut short when dark clouds eclipsed the sun and the sky opened up, drenching actors and crew.
Conflicting cast schedules delayed shooting of the remaining scenes until nearly six months later, in the middle of winter.
