Writer/director Joe Lipari told this story as part of his stand up routine at Comix Comedy Club in NYC. After watching his set Greg Giraldo told Joe it would be perfect for a movie.
Originally written as a thesis project for film school, Joe was told it was too long to shoot in the allotted time given by the school (6 days). Joe opted to not use any of the schools equipment and do it on his own, he ended up shooting it in 3.5 days.
Director, Joe Lipari, studied improv at The People's Improv Theater and likes to have as many improvisers in his cast as possible.
