I'm usually ok with Lifetime movies. I know most have repetitive themes but they are usually pretty good. This movie is terrible. The characters make ridiculous decisions. The mother character is supposed to be looking for her daughter who has been kidnapped, but is distracted by falling in love. This is probably the most annoying part of the storyline. It's just not realistic at all. If your kid is missing you would not be worried about kissing & cuddling while out trying to find them. They pass getting help from the police that are always right there.
I'm giving it a 5 because the acting is decent. The actors can't help the story line is terrible.

First of all... The Mother -Daughter relationship is ridiculous. Like...she's taking her daughter on the run to escape an abusive husband/father...But, then proceeds to leave her in a car on the side of the road?...sure, she locked her mom out of the car...but really? You'd bust a window and bring them with you, before leaving your angry teenager with a broke down car in the middle of nowhere.
Secondly, when the officer arrives and arrests the mother, doesn't believe her, assumes the daughter ran off....seriously?
I have so much more to say, but I can't even form it into anything... The whole movie is hot garbage. I'm shocked that any streaming service allows it to take up space in their library.

Horrible acting and the characters were completely unrealistic. They tried REALLY hard to make a suspense movie but you spend the every moment thinking how stupid the plot is. I'm not sure why I suffered through the entire thing.
Mother and daughter both had multiple chances to escape or fight off their attacker, but instead decided to scream or stand around looking afraid. Oh, and leaving him with an armed weapon when you had the chance to grab it was a great move.
Also, the bear....really!? Really!? That was convenient.
I would recommend saving your time and picking something else to watch. You will thank me.

First off...this movie is not worth it. I have tried to watch three times since the premiere, and it was so boring, so screechy, that I ended up reading a recap....and discovered the ending. It's the only reason to watch.
How is the fake park ranger the ONLY park ranger we see? I realize parks are huge and have secluded parts, but if the mom (don't even care to know the names of the characters) drove up on an auto shop and they found a restaurant, where are the hikers? The campers? The hunters? The real rangers?
Nothing new here in terms of Lifetime storylines, so don't expect much, but honestly, skip to the last few minutes for a good laugh. This movie seemed like a filler movie.

First, growing up very close to Yellowstone, I really was expecting more. I Even tried to give the producers the benefit of the doubt that they could not shoot on location in Yellowstone due to budget constraints. But with all that said, this still turned out to be a crappy film and a poor sell of whatever they used to try and look like Yellowstone. The folage was off, the Park signs and Ranger uniforms were not even close. The town could of maybe fit for West Yellowstone, MT. Maybe. Stock footage of Old Faithful geyser, or Yellowstone Falls might have help sold the location but they did not even do that. Lastly, city and county law enforcement never ever do any murder or criminal investigations in a National Park. National Park Service law enforcement Rangers have jurastiction in all Federal National Park Boundaries. It would have been turned over to them. All these blunders ruined this film and turned what could have been somewhat of a watchable film into a technical diaster. They did no research on this film and it showed.

- TriviaLucie Guest and Cassandra Sawtell, the actors playing mother and daughter in this film, are only four years apart in real life.
- GoofsGiven the continual emphasis on the 'small town' vibe of the Diner/Car Repair/Visitor Center community, it seems unlikely a phony Park Ranger would go un-noticed among the locals long enough for multiple visits to to the diner for meal stops allow him to be thought of as a 'regular', especially with the ongoing mystery of multiple, recent, unexplained disappearances .
