Wiley Thompson is one ambitious up-and-comer, about to get married to his boss's daughter. A couple of weeks before the wedding is set to take place, Wiley suddenly volunteers to take a business trip to India. The trip is a delicate matter and Wiley wants to prove himself to the company. He is to find company employee Christophe Bergeron, suspected of embezzling funds, and corral him back to the States. But in bustling Chennai, Wiley finds that each step he takes pushes him further away from his goals. Running with Christophe, each man desperately trying to take the lead, the two form an unlikely partnership. They embark on a crackpot journey through India, each running away from his personal demons.
