I'm the first review! I use to love foreign films but as of late they've gotten as bad as US , UK, etc. This was a refreshing, cute, funny , light hearted serie. I quite liked all the female leads( I'm not really familiar with Polish films or movies but I thought it was done well and a decent watch for the evening. I also watched the stranger( another new Netflix release) but enjoyed this more. It wasn't hilarious but was funny enough and cute ( my god still have over 100 characters)!!! But I would recommend to anyone who likes a decent funny serie with a bit of thrilling elements thrown in. Ok.

It really doesn't look or sound interesting from the beginning. 8 episodes of 25 minutes or so without the titles and credits. About 10 minutes into it, I was going to turn it off but decided to stick with it. Nonetheless, it pulled me in by the middle of the 2nd episode.

It turns out, the story and characters were captivating. It is an unusual narrative, one that gets your attention slowly.

Three female leads running away from the police due to their latest heist, find succour by enrolling to live in an assisted living community. A tarot card reader who could guess the future, a mischievous and sexy grandma, and a former fighter pilot hide together.

In the end series end, no questions remain left unanswered.

This series was a pleasant surprise. I was watching in the original Polish so I could hear the actual actors, but using English subtitles, which I am accustomed to doing even for shows in English--and I had a blast. I'm so tired of the grim and gritty approach, and all the "modern sensibilities" stuffed in. This series was refreshing and never took itself seriously once, that I can remember. So what if it hit some tropes? Even the opening credits are cute and short. The fact that it finishes in a predictable "cliffhanger" that will hopefully lead to a second series, is a positive ending, in my book.

It's a HOOT! I am like letting out this scream-laughs like some sort of demented bird of prey. It is darkly comedic, quirky, off-beat, original, and this show is having fun. Watch it and just be wildly entertained by the richly dark and dry humor.

These women are bringing spark to the geriatric set. I find it interesting that the same general area of Europe just released the horror movie 'Old People' which deals with the plight of the geriatric set in a totally d different genre. These writers took the same general idea and said "But what if it was FUN?! And what if we helped these people find their agency again in a positive way? What if they went vigilante? But with great fashion sense?

This show is great!

I absolutely loved this Polish comedy about three Robin Hood style elder ladies hiding in elderly people house from police. A charming story reminds us that elderly people can be witty, attractive, very pleasant and inventive and it's great to show that elderly actors are as beautiful as young ones.

A good length of eight episodes, story not too long, not too short. Lovely actresses playing three main roles and a very nice cast of elderly Polish actors. Superb plot with many turns and twists, and the very ending with several cliffhangers is a good promise of another season of well written second part of this charming story.

This show isn't slick or fast-paced but its a fun watch. Think of this as Leverage with 3 fabulous women in their 60s for whom age is just a number.

You are likely to guess whats coming next and the cops aren't all there with their investigation. Luck seems to really favour these women but they hold their own.

Its a light binge over a weekend or when you don't want to watch something intense. I've recently started watching Polish shows and though they can be predictable, they are quite enjoyable.

I personally stick to the original audio and read the subtitles as I don't like the sound of the English translation.

How wonderful to see older people represented as real humans who are smart, funny, infirm, cranky, sexy, sweet and nefarious. Besides great characters and locations, this is a fun mystery show without all the gore and predictability of all the American and British mysteries.

Part heist and part mystery we follow a team of bandits when they are forced to lay low after a high profile robbery. But how can you keep your head down when you find corruption and bad guys all around who need to be taught a lesson??

I haven't seen any Polish television before but will now be on the look out for.

I am VERY glad Netflix renewed for a 2nd season.

It's quite good! English dubbing and subtitles provided, as the original was in polish. These ladies were pulling heist jobs together, but when one of them shows a very specific tattoo during a robbery, they go into hiding. Into a nursing home. But they discover more criminals at the nursing home, doing even worse things. Can they put a stop to the crooks at the home before they are discovered themselves? It's silly and fun. The fact that some of them are on the older side, but can still jump around the rooftops makes for an adventure. The english translation isn't always quite right, but the voice tones and rhythms are really great! So often, the english dubbing is contrived or ridiculous, but not here. It's a serious caper, told tongue in cheek, and it all works. Really fun. Currently on the netflix. One season so far.

Yes, it has prominent comedic elements and is certainly what might be called a 'light' drama, but the character portrayal of the three lead women is excellent, a textbook example of 'acting' at its best and you should watch this just to see how three actresses can truly inhabit and project a character.

But what makes the viewer support these criminals? It is their innate goodness and righting of wrongs against some of the most vulnerable members of every society in the world... the old and infirm.

This is a TV series with a lot of heart and I watched it in two sittings. Definately a full-throated recommendation from me if you fancy trying quality, light European television.

Honestly, I think it's one of the best among current Polish comedy shows. Fresh ideas, fun stories (crime stories!), wonderfully lovable characters. It's original they decided to focus on older people and made them witty, interesting and cool. The acting is superb too (for those unfamiliar with Polish actors, there are some VERY well-known people in this one) and overall message is heartwarming. Even if it's not your typical type of show, give it a try. You may be very pleasantly surprised. Both season 1 and season 2 keep the same message and the same fun. Episodes are short and engage the viewer nicely. Finally we have a show that features older generation in a cool way.

I stumbled upon the Green Glove Gang series and I'm so glad I did! This Polish series is a breath of fresh air - refreshing, cute, funny, and light-hearted. The female leads are absolutely fantastic, and I loved watching their characters grow and evolve throughout the series.

As someone who isn't familiar with Polish cinema, I was blown away by the production quality and storytelling. The pacing is perfect for a relaxing evening watch, and the humor is spot on.

I highly recommend the Green Glove Gang series to anyone looking for a feel-good, entertaining show. It's a hidden gem that deserves more attention! 10 stars, hands down.
