Unexpectedly so interesting. Watching this drama makes me wonder if this is purely fiction or kinda based on true story, or if it was from novel and then made to a drama. I have no regret watching this drama. I love how they put it into thoughts in all detail of the drama. I love how things are not fully controlled over one character's scheme. The fact that many events that appeared in this drama was influenced by their own (characters) assumptions that can create such a plot twist is so fun to watch and reminds me of how human can be so foolish because of their own fear, dream, or desire. And I enjoyed how the drama presented a character can not be fully hated or liked just like drama in general.
Korean Drama "Bloody Heart" is a feast of beautiful camerawork, excellent lighting, atmospheric settings, and just right costumes.
The story starts strongly, and the love story sets strong foundations for what is there to come next. And yet, what does come next is a letdown. It was boring more than anything, and the whole political battle lacked intensity and the right plot twists.
As for the performances, they were all great, and the main couple had chemistry.
So, overall, seven out of ten.

I love historical K dramas. I was hesitant to watch it because I like series with happy ending, sue me. I love the way it started with the privilege-ness of the crown prince. Then, he was taken down more than a couple of pegs. What I loved is that this series left me anxious each episode to find out what would happen next. I want to say I inhaled this series because I could not wait to see what was going to happen next. It felt like a game of chess. I love the king and what I think he is going to become. The only thing is he shouldn't sleep with the Royal concubine, she is not worth the hassle.
Has some of the best plot twists I've seen in a kdrama. Each episode ending keeps you wanting more. Would highly recommend to someone who enjoys historical romance-political dramas.
I really enjoyed this movie. Every episode left one yearning for more. Councilor Park was on point. The King as well. Infact. All the actors and actresses made it all so real. I am surprised it's not listed as one of the best historical"s ever. Lady Park who latter became the queen's role was perfect in the first half, the second half she was rather too serious. It would have been nice to see her smile more. But still, the Queen Dowagers love and character were spot on I loved it truly. I would recommend all historical lovers to watch this. I would rank it high up.there as it's all so.unpredictable.
