Disney's latest racing game trying to ride on that Mario Kart craze. But does it succeed? Unlike Mario Kart, the tracks are much shorter, and effects are hit or miss. You get to play as different Disney characters, though you must grind for hours at a time to unlock the rest of the roster. You can also customise your car, though you need loads of different currencies to obtain a single item. There is also a level up system in general ranking, ranked matches by characters, and battle pass. It can get tiring with the grind, but thankfully the tracks are short, and rewards are plenty depending how long you play. It's decent, but Mario Kart handled the controls, cosmetics and other details in more polished way. Even if this game is free, it still tries to coax you into using your credit card.

I feel more motivation than I did with the genre's original models.

Here, you can race after race for hours and the rewards don't stop. To bypass pay to win completely, there is even a mode for regulated multiplayer races.

The atmosphere, soundtrack and graphics are awesome, fun and bursting with lovely details. In the founder's package there are not really many bonuses and I have unlocked all but four drivers by playing and Belle I even already have on level 30. So no real pay to win. Nevertheless, I would put money in here because I would accept and buy the game as a full price title.

The tenth star I can not give only because I miss a battle mode with balloons.

Great game, great fun and cross play.

Update 2024: it went down, straight, in every possible way.

Among all the Disney games I have played this in my opinion is the best Disney game ever there are a lot of reasons why I consider it my game of the year.

1) very nice gameplay 2) very well done character design 3) beautiful music 4) there is cross-play and 5) there are the voice actors of the Disney characters. This game is a thousand times better than Disney Dreamlight Valley, Mario Kart, Sonic and All Star Racing etc. If you love racing car games and love Disney and Pixar characters this game is for you.

(I'm very happy that Gameloft has created a Fantastic game so if you are afraid that the game costs don't worry the game is now FREE) Update: The Game got even Worst is no longer my favorite Disney Game.
