During the first on-screen assault on Aerok hill, Lt. Soo-hyeok apparently uses his unscoped M1D Garand sniper rifle to launch a grenade at an enemy position. However, previously, and in all other instances, his M1D is fitted not with the grenade launcher attachment but a flash suppressor.

The North Korean Mosin-Nagant sniper rifle seen in the film is equipped with a PU scope, but the reticle in the scope does not look like that in an actual PU. Likewise, the M84 scope on the M1D Garand sniper rifle seen in the film has crosshairs that do not match an actual M84.
During the final battle, U.S. Air Force F-51 Mustang fighter-bombers are supposedly bombing the North Korean position. But although many explosions can be seen as the planes are flying over the position, we see no bombs dropping from them. Indeed, they do not even appear to carry any external munitions.

The U.S. flags at the start of the film are the post-1960 variant with 50 stars.
