Director Imran Khalid had planned this film in 1998 with Jackie Shroff but Jackie opted out due to delays when the film restarted in 2000 Mithun Chakraborthy got signed for the film.
Arbaaz Khan was signed for the film but due to delays he opted out Faisal Khan was then signed when the film got revived.
