Pokémon Diamond Version (2006)

Trivia

Pokémon Diamond Version

Edit
On January 12, 2008 a special event occurred where diamond dust weather effects began in the game. This was an event added to celebrate the birthday of Jun'ichi Masuda and has since become a franchise tradition.
The first Pokemon game to fully utilize WiFi settings on the Nintendo DS, however it's technically the second Pokemon game to have online capabilities. Pokémon Crystal Version (2000) had a function to connect online by using a brand of Game Boy and a cellphone exclusively in Japan.
Several years before the game's release, a "Diamond Version" for the Game Boy Color was in circulation. However, it was not an official game, but a ROM hack of "Keitai DenJuu Telefang: Speed Version", a Japan exclusive game similar to the Pokémon series.
This video game takes place in the Incomplete Timeline of the Pokémon multiverse, together with Pokémon Ruby Version (2002), Pokémon Sapphire Version (2002) and Pokémon Pearl Version (2006).
The main characters are Lucas and Dawn.
