May not make it to Ep04

I decided to watch this because of the name Mel Brooks put on this. There was never supposed to be a part 22 When he was interviewed, after making History of the Eorld Part one, he said that the part 1 part was part of the joke. It was only ever going to be a part one Well then here we are with part two. It has been some years ince part one came out and apparently they forgot what made it funny. The first episode had some funny parts in it. The second episode had nothing funny. The third episode started out with something so cringe-worthy, I almost stopped it right there.

It hasn't gotten any better. I may not make it to episode four. This is pretty much garbage.

Marco... Polo... this episode had me LMAO!

As big fans of History of the World Part 1, my husband and I were excited for this series to come out and it did not disappoint. Some skits are better than others and after watching all the episodes, I must say the scene where Marco Polo meets Kublai Kahn was by far my favorite, literal tears rolling down my face from laughing so hard. As far as the rest of the series goes, there are several different, funny actors and comedians used throughout that it was quite entertaining to see who would be playing which character to reenact historic events a la Mel Brooks - offensively funny in so many ways. Definitely for mature audiences, some references might be hard to get especially if you aren't up to date with some popular shows/series under the abc network umbrella.

Exactly what I would expect from HotW Pt. 2 in 2023

What's with all the long faces?! I was dying though the whole episode and I love the whole running jokes/stories from episode 1, it will make for a very interesting season! This is pretty much what I would expect from a Mel Brooks' show circa 2023, plus I love how they made it a show and not a movie, and then made fun of themselves for it in one of the episodes!

This definitely isn't something you can have the kids watch, but with all the old '70s, '80s, and '90s stylistic references they wouldn't get it anyway. This is definitely for someone who is older and halfway decent with their current pop cultural references. I can't wait for future episodes, after all my neighbors probably though The Joker moved next door after seeing these first two!
