This would've been better as a 10 minute YouTube video about Billie taking Letterman in a Kart race.

I understand that he is NOT even close to being in the same generation as Billie or even familiar with her work or the """"pop culture""" she is inserted in, but this just feels like a desperate attempt to get numbers by interviewing someone young and popular...

And it kinda worked lol that was the only episode of the show that I watched and because I'm a fan of Billie and enjoy seeing stuff from her, but this felt so shallow and pointless. The entire thing is David getting up to speed with Billie and hanging out with her and Finneas. There's literally not one single thing new or exciting that someone that follows her and watched other interviews wouldn't already know. So for me it was really disappointing! He was nice, Billie seemed like she had a good time doing it, but it's almost like he didn't prep to do this AT ALL, so he could actually ask interesting stuff that she didn't answer already. Specially considering the timing, you gotta understand that there's almost been a year since the album came out and a lot of interviews about it, so for you to release a new one now... it suggests you got something new or interesting from her that's worth sharing, and I didn't get that from this... sorry.

How do you say something like "the one that i saw was for the last album" referring to a music video she directed and you don't even know the name of the song and there was like 5 different ones from Happier than Ever, it seemed so disrespectful to me and sooooo predictable that it was gonna be about the practical effects.

I'm not saying that he shouldn't interview people that are way younger or shaming him for being older, I'm really not! But if you're doing something like this with someone and there's a considerable age difference and you don't consume their work, you have to prepare yourself and you have to at least get familiar with their latest body of work. This would've been better as a 10 minute YouTube video about Billie taking Letterman in a Kart race.

And lastly, I know people could argue that this was not made for me, that the demographic that this is targeted at is people who followed Letterman's career and that audience doesn't follow Billie so it would be good, interesting and new for those people... but I disagree! I feel like if I never heard of Billie and watched this I would get a superficial idea of a girl that got super famous really young but with no understanding of why her work resonated with people so much and what's special about her, so my rating was actually getting lower throughout the experience of writing this review.

    Great interview

I've watched all four seasons and this is the only one I commented on. I don't know any of Billie Eilish's songs but found this interview interesting and Finneas very engaging. It's worth a watch!
