    Wonderful film

I had a great time watching this on Prime recently. Why are more people not talking about this? It's got great performances, tense story, really interesting characters and it's well made.

The cinematography is really great, so is the music and editing. There's a clear sense of direction to every moment of the film but it never feels heavy handed. Oh, and that ending is 'mwah' (chefs kiss). I had NO idea it was low budget til I came to IMDB to read more. Will be checking out the directors previous film as it looks like he's done a few.

Look forward to seeing what's next for everyone who was involved. Really satisfying watch!

    A remarkable achievement

I watch a range of films, from big budget franchises to arthouse, shorts and microbudget festival films - this has got to be one of the best I've seen for a few reasons. First of all the acting is so natural and consistent throughout, something that's often lacking in independent films. Second it looks great (and seemingly with not much of a budget to speak of too?). I've seen a few films funded by BFI/Film Cymru with larger budgets that don't look anywhere near as good. And then there's the emotional sweep of the film. Those characters and that heartbreaking final scene!

    Just great all round.

    Loved it!

Great modern fable of people left behind by society and forced to fend for themselves. Normally this would be a bleak, British social-realist drama but there's something fantastical to it, more like magic-realism at times, with a few characters (and hallucinatory sequences) that give it an original edge.

The characters and acting are what really make it. Great little ensemble, rich with personality, and as the stakes raise throughout the film you genuinely worry who will make it out alive.

Subtle direction and cinematography, tight editing and some great sound design. Can't recommend enough.
