I think the only reason most people don't like this movie is because it's German, and that's really childish like come on it's a good movie, one of the best German ones, I mean it's not "all quiet on the western front" but cut it some slack. I feel like most people reviewing this movie is 25yrs + and they say it's a bad teen movie. As a teen myself I approve of this movie, it might be a little to much sexual activity , but I can look aside that. The main characters I did truly like they are played by good actors and they deliver them well. It was a really weird movie, but a fun time none the less.
"Hammerharte Jungs" is a weird teen comedy, even by German standard. "American Pie" it is not, but it might be an almost worthy German version. Almost.
The Good: Lacking an ensemble cast, instead we get childhood buddies Paula and Charly, two high schoolers with talking genitals. Yes, it's weird. Lacking in sexual experience, they are egged on by their eager talking organs to lose their virginity. Somewhat comedic moments ensue.
The Bad: And that's the main problem with this movie. Moments and situations that should have been played for comedy somehow got too serious and suddenly very unfunny. The end result is something much less than "American Pie," and instead just another teen drama.
And then there's a strange side story about Charly's parents.
Probably this movie was misclassified as a comedy. As a drama, however, it is not bad. Real-life situations and problems of high school life are worthy subjects and had the "comedic" talking genitals been cut out, "Hard Feelings" would have earned more stars.
8 stars for tackling real issues minus 2 stars for misplaced comedy.

No pun intended - also as I said to one of the previous movies (this being a sort of "reboot" or rather re-imagening of the story the other two movies told - well the core of those stories/movies that is) - two can play that game - or talk big game ... talk to their genitalia that is. I reckon you could accuse this of being woke ... and it does try to satisfy both genders (no pun ... detected I assume).
Still there are enough crazy things going on ... suspension of disbelief is elementary as you might imagine. This is aimed at a younger audience and it might do the trick for them. It is quite decent I reckon ... some of the actors of the previous movies (franchise?) return ... though it is unclear if they play the same characters ... I guess not, it is not like they mention stuff from the other movies or anything ... still nice to see them ... maybe becoming adults made them forget stuff ... I am kind of kidding of course.

Can't wait to read what other people thought about this.
I'm going to write my thoughts and maybe an opinion.
I can't believe, that a country as open in their sexuality as Germany made this movie. I wasn't expecting hardcore, but considering that I've seen t.v commercials in Germany that include unnecessary nudity this seems to be a Sunday morning for kids.
It's supposed to be about sex and the hormonal rage in your teen years. But other than the language there's nothing you haven't seen before.
There's no nudity, well...just buttocks, but considering that is about genitals talking to their people you might imagine it was going to be funny...but it's not.
Tries to give you the American Pie vibe, but it's more like the Adam Sandler movies.
If you like the idea of genitals talking, you are better off watching Big Mouth... At least that cartoon series is funny and much daring and bold.

This is a German movies I seen that shows in a coarse way two pals who are in the last class of high school and feeling now is the time of making love. In a sudden their sexual members start talking to them in an even more raunchy and quite stupid way that in part inhibits to do their classes with some stupid actions. Thankfully they were enough smart to get back before they were more ridiculed.
The story is very interesting with lots of good morals but the way it is given is more than raunchy putting the movie IQ to the floor level . For example we see his member rotating in front of other classmates or in the orchestra. Getting viral in the social media supposedly tik tok was the good side effect for him. Instead, his girlfriend was called as hooker and was ridiculed well. You can fancy what happened then. I can only notice the Greek expression make a mountain out of a molehill as translated into English. The class mates have a good motto "no more shaming" mentioned in English , which always was broken
The end is relatively better and quite predictable. A fast paced movie with some interesting twists Limited hidden nudity with much of overacting
Story : 6 and quite cute Implementation: 2 /10.
