This is an overlong often painful and unfunny comedy. Even 10 would have been too much. The mystery criminal element is so uninteresting. Im Soo Hyang as Woori is not the best actress out there. Having 2 guys fight over her again like in When I was the Prettiest! Please. Her expressions are so annoyingly frustrating. Don't find the Mom and Grandma too endearing.
Sung Hoon should have finished Love Marriage Divorce last season instead of this. The side characters like Mari and her mom all act rings around Woori.
Don't bother with this dud. An unnecessary Korean version of a Hollywood show that wasn't that great to begin with. Unlike 18 Again which was better and expanded the story. A step back for rom coms.

Korean Drama " Woori The Virgin " is the remake of the American-Latin series, giving it a Korean twist, with the Korean family dynamics, the chaebol culture, and the cheesy twists.
The drama follows loosely the original plot, with the prompt of the pregnancy taking another turn and giving the creators new ground to work on. Thus, the drama focuses more on the family values, even when it came to the villains and the big criminal case. Those family dynamics were probably what saved the drama most of the time and gave some comical relief with the side stories.
On the other hand, the love triangle was boring and tragically cheesy, with little chemistry and many cliche twists.
As for the performances, they were all great by everyone in the cast.
The cinematography also did a good job with the mood of the drama, keeping it light and fluffy.
So, overall, 3 out of 10.

There were some great unexpected twists all throughout. The photography was done very well with some very tender moments. . Great job with the overall theme and plot. OST is great too. Wow! Many life stories to be told with this show-that's how life is, right? That's one of the reasons I watch KDrama. I was wondering how it would end, and have to say, with the same, even pace of the main actress. She was very well composed. I didn't expect anything more than a romcom and was pleasantly surprised. I didn't particularly like the CEOs wardrobe, nothing like the main actor in 1% - he was fabulously dressed. Grandmother scenes were poignant. I liked how they showed the cast members when they were growing up. Nicely balanced.
I honestly understand when certain countries make spin-offs of certain shows, but Jane the Virgin covered so many vital issues to the hispanic community and I feel like "Woori" the Virgin just captured the artificially inseminated part. If you watch the OG first, then the remake after - it feels like a downgrade because there aren't many original components (the crime, passion, villain redemption etc..). This show has no point to be honest, just watch the original as it is - why make a remake?
This make no sense. That is his blood he has no other blood relative with him. He doesn't get to be with his daughter everyday or every night. He doesn't get to see all her first moments. This is wrong just wrong. She was just a surrogate she had no relationship or ties to the father. This shouldn't have ended like this at all. This is horrible and I will not watch these actors or writers again.
