the day electricity came to south Africa

Aaaah the good old days of Afrikaans movies this movie is hilarious and very entertaining. One of many black and white movies in Afrikaans. Just for the record all Afrikaans movies were black and white until 1966 the year the first colored Afrikaans movie was released It plays out on the time when electricity first came to south Africa everyone is excited except for oom koot(Frederic burgers) who doesn't want it because it will conflict with his marriage plans. Hilerious things starts to happen and you laugh your as of for all the thins oom koott does to prevent them from continuing. A good old fashioned comedy for the whole family go and search for this one you won't be disappointed. This movie also futures a very young Marie Du tiot!! This starts a new era of Afrikaans movies the era that was the 60's full of comedy and heart. Generly.I don't like black and white movies but if its a comedy I can handle it
