Episode #1.5

Spencer has brought it home to his father that he has no friends, it just so happens that Keith from work fancies a night out.

I'm glad I stuck with the show, I didn't get I to it initially, but it's starting to win me over. As with the last episode, I quite enjoyed it. A few laughs, and where I felt that the deconstruction of Jonathan was too much, too soon, it does feel at last like the pieces are slowly being put together.

I criticised an earlier episode for being bittersweet, but lacking the sweeter, lighter side, that has actually started coming through, but it's not coming from Jonathan, Claire or even Dan, but in the unlikely relationship that's developed between Courtney and Spencer, it's been sweet to watch.

We even get to see some of the spark that once existed between Jonathan and Claire, the pair have felt like strangers so far, this changed that.

Again, this was pretty good, 7/10.
