Histoire de Prison

This is a short and poignant little short film directed and starring Vincent Elbaz, playing one of the inmates, and co starring Gregory Gadebois. Not many dialogues, a few shots but very well done, unusual angles, all the meanings remain mostly in glances instead of talks, talks and talks. It could have been a bit longer, with more characters depiction. But again, the shorter is sometimes the better. Made in black and white, it emphasizes on the darkness, gloominess of this story where you have some laughs. A pretty good little story that can announce more in the future from Vincent Elbaz as a film maker.
