The Man on the Cliff is a brilliant and incredibly powerful short-film. Metin Guler has done a fabulous job constructing the imagery of the film and The Man on the Cliff enjoys being playful with our imagination. This short-film has the twist, suspense and drama. The tension of the story is counterbalanced with a heart that makes more than one plot accessible and enthralling. Metin Guler directing has a bit of that M. Night Shyamalan style but I can definitely say that Metin has his own style here and is effective such directors like Shyamalan with a film that is edited for every second to wrap around the other expertly. This one definitely goes in my book as one of the greatest psychological suspense short film. What your eyes see is not exactly what it is. Well done...
