I was excited through the first couple episodes. It had potential to build a great story but the show never brought it all together. It hints toward alot but leaves too much to infer. The show is labeled a comedy but is more off of a dark comedy than a laugh out loud comedy. The final episode seems to be a throw together to answer all the questions in one without support from the rest of the series. No way the watcher could come to these conclusions. Add more key info to each episode so we that all we can get to finish with you. This show wants for a lot. I am not sure how season 2 is approved.
I came to this as it felt like there was a lot that should work on paper, some interesting cast and an intriguing premise. Certainly, there's plenty of intrigue in the first episode, but sadly it's all downhill from there. And for a comedy, there are nearly zero laughs to be found.
Gelman's performance is enormous, the direction is so colorful that it's sickly. Perhaps both of those are attempts to bring some comedy to the show, but they are sorely misguided. The tone veers all over the place, operating in such aimless extremes that it will leave you feeling totally lost, and with little of it making any sense at all.
What it makes for is a show that is trying so hard to tell you how good and funny it is, without actually being either. A real disappointment.

This is probably the strangest, weirdest show I've seen in years.
The actors are great, the direction is great, and the editing is great! The story however, is all over the place, and so random that I'm baffled. I'm left wondering if there even was a script at all. Was it all improvisation by the actors?
And it's definitely not a comedy. But what is it? It's not funny, so not a comedy. It's creepy at times, but not scary, so not a horror. It's exiting at short amounts of time, but not thrilling, so not a thriller. What genre is this show??
There are so many things happening, and so many characters. Yet, after the last episode, you sit back and think - what the h*** did I just watch? Who was that girl, why did the villagers do as they did, what happened to that guy, and who was really that child? Too many unanswered questions.
I'm giving it three stars for the acting, editing, and direction. The story completely through me off.

When I first started watching this show, I was slightly apprehensive that it was just going to be another television show that was going to be repetitive and use the same plot as everyone else. It ended up having some amazing twists and turns that I did not see coming and I normally am one that can see those way in advance! With that being said, I think that this is a series anyone that loves a dash of comedy with an addition of horror to it should watch because it is absolutely fantastic. I would suggest it 1000 times over if I could. Because of the ratings that I saw which I deemed unfair due to the fact that it is underrated for how well written it is and how incredible the cast, and the storyline go the only thing I am upset about is the fact that it doesn't have a follow up season!

I don't watch much tv, nor have I been impressed with horror flicks since the 90's faces of de@th. If you're looking for a recommendation of something comedic, twisty turny, kinda gory but not actual horror, genuine absolute suspense... I recommend Netflix show Entitled. Every episode had my mind reeling, wondering what could be getting to happen next. There was constant suspense and thrill to every episode and I could not wait to consume more of it. It has for every bizarre reason captivated me as well as scratched my horror itch. What a plot twist too! I am very sad to be done with this show.
