Seeta describes the first time they met was during the annihilation of Ravan in Kurukshetra. This is supposed to be a recall of the actual Hindu epic Ramayan. But Ravan is annihilated in Lanka. The war of Kurukshetra is from the Mahabharat not the Ramayan.
