*Helicopter Heist* was absolutely brilliant, and I'm honestly baffled by all the whining. People complaining seem to expect some kind of flawless Hollywood blockbuster, completely missing the point. The series delivered a gripping story, great pacing, and solid performances that kept me hooked the entire time. Sure, it's not perfect-but honestly, who cares? It's a true story, not some overproduced Marvel movie. If you can't appreciate the effort that went into bringing this insane heist to life, then you're just being ungrateful. Stop nitpicking and enjoy it for what it is: thrilling, raw, unforgettable, and totally worth the watch.
Phenomenally well done. Actors are beliavable, the score helps build the drams and anguish lead character feels. Being Swedish I remember this robbery well, it was quite the story in the media and kind of the end of the Yugoslavian mafia running Stockholms underworld.
WHY DOES A REVIEW HAVE TO BE 600 WORDS, EPISODE 1 WAS BETTER THAN EPISODE 2 WHICH WAS WORSE THAN EPISODE 4 BUT BETTTER THAN EPIOSDE7 WHICH IN TURN WAS SLIGHTLY BETTER THAN EPISODE 3, BUT EPISODE 5 WAS BETTER THAN EPISODE 2 AND EPISODE 8 WAS TO PLACEMENT OVER 2. I have always had a hard time watching Swedish productions as a Swede. This time, I felt like almost everything was well executed. Acting was mostly great, cast was up to the mark, script was of a high standard and the plot was, besides being predictable (obviously), really captivating. Just great.
I really think they managed to overcome the "problem" of choosing a side here. Who do I really want things to go well for? You ended up in some sort of middle ground that followed during the course of the series, which I was content with.
Something that I felt was a little off was the team of detectives, or whatever they are supposed to be called. They did not exude direct competence. Everyone but Leonie felt rather uninterested in the whole case. She had to come in as a savior in times of need a little too often, even when it came to things that felt relatively obvious. But maybe that is how it all went down, what do I know?
Overall, I really enjoyed the series. It was captivating and offered details, which I believe happened in reality, and which had not been heard of before. I think it is worth seeing for everyone, not just Swedes who have pre existing knowledge of the case.

As a big fan of "Moneyheist" (La Casa...) I kind of like this even more as it nots so polished.
Every star in money heist were photo-esque, stars or selected to be great cover material for magazines.
Here we have more or less normal people, behaving as people do. They were not perfect, and we got to know them as how they live and... work.
The acting from our main stars are amazing, and as a Swede I think the script and dialogue were spot on.
Scenery and locations were as it is, imperfect too. The location wasnt a polished office building, but more as a industry building - as it was in reality. Kudos to details!
Having it as a mini-serie, fantastic - if this had been a hollywood production with action and dramatized events with no back-story. No thanks.
This was simply put great!

You may know how the ending goes, as this was a famous story that actually happened. But watching it, I cannot help but be mesmerised with the characters and their motivations.
No glossy glamour of a heist like Oceans Eleven or Money Heist (Casa de Papel), this one is realistically portrayed. The characters are like regular people, like you and me, with challenges in life, and they're trying their best with what they have.
No superstar unblemished looks and perfect hairdo that make you wonder if you're watching a commercial.
It just so happens realistically that things go wrong, plans don't work, etc. But like me, I think you'd not only be well rewarded with an entertaining show, but gripped with suspense at every episode.
