not bad

Easy going, well structured ..still..it's made on "popular-science" level...means: not that much specific details(maybe theories) which could be interesting to know (ponder upon)...

I had to laugh how the native woman was shocked when the presenter admitted feeding her baby from bottle after few months. Anthropologist should know the importance...but still, she takes that important evolution advantage (breast-feeding) from her daughter...and goes for carrier (shooting this documentary).

Best artificial milk in the world will not replace mother's breast-milk.

..anyway, I digressed ...BBC usually has pleasant documentaries...this is one of them..

Fab

Well-presented, and very good presentation of excellent content. The evolution of modern humans is encapsulated into 3 areas, which I consider to be logical - bones, guts and brains - for which you'll have to see the series to understand what these mean in detail. Each of these is well-explained with the right examples.

Along the way, some geology and climate change is shown, and this is shown in an excellent way as well.

This series uses appropriate graphics to illustrate points, often overlaying CGI on top of real footage. This also is well-done and never shaky or dodgy.

The different stages of evolution are mentioned in each episode, as is the time of each stage, which is very helpful to the average viewer (including me).
