Great film with a compelling story

Really enjoyed this film. I was drawn into the characters and the level of sympathy I developed for the characters was beyond what I expected. The film was beautifully shot in what appears to be Litchfield County. You can tell the director took his time with the details of the film and seemed to navigate well in the area with some beautiful shots. I see it was a low budget film but it looks like it cost a few million dollars. I thought the overall message was filled with ethos and pathos and there was a rather big surprise at the end, which i won't spoil! Sometimes it is surprising what independent films can put out there with limited resources and no-name actors. I enjoy seeing films that can carry deep subjects such as this, while telling stories that are truly transforming.
