More than half of the film's $800 budget was spent on gear and its shipping cost from USA to Sweden.
The story was intended to be a five-part series until executive producers Zak Forsman and Kevin Shah suggested that Reese re-cut it as feature.
Reese and Ayele met while studying abroad in Uppsala, Sweden. It wasn't until after several months of knowing each other that they discovered their mutual interest in filmmaking and decided to collaborate on a project.
A majority of the film's cast was found by crashing rehearsals of Uppsala University's student theatre groups.
Gunilla Willis was in fact the real neighbor living across the hall from director J. Erik Reese during filming. Anya Tkachenco, who plays Charlie, lived one floor above them.
