Jo and Anna, two teenagers that go to the same school but come from different worlds meet during an aquarium school trip, only to discover that what brings them together is more powerful than what keeps them apart.

Anna is a gifted but insecure 17-year-old girl who is desperate to belong. During an aquarium school trip, her jockey boyfriend pressures Anna into entrapping his go-to target, tough Albanian classmate Jo, so that they can bully them later on. Anna accepts the mission only to find herself perplexed by her own feelings for Jo. Now Anna needs to decide if she's brave enough to follow her inner voice or succumb to the need to be accepted.—Late Bloomers

Desperate to fit in, insecure twelfth-grader Anna approaches Jo, her Albanian classmate, during a self-guided aquarium field trip. After all, Anna has given in to her boyfriend's demand to lure Jo outside; with his mind aflame with hate, he spells trouble.
