Is that what happy ending means? Wait it means what? Oh I see - well then, no pun intended of course. Our two main characters have gotten to know each other well, but while the man thinks everything is peachy, the woman can't come ... to the same conclusion (so many puns and innuendos, I know ... and I love it).
That being said, they decide (her suggesting of course) to try out something new. The problem of course is not directly addressing the issue at hand. Can't touch it - I reckon that avoiding talking about things is easier sometimes ... but only short term wise. Because talking to each other is one of the most important things you can do in a relationship ... let's see if they found out before it is too late ... well I know already, but I mean you ... and you and everyone thinking about watching this.

... Netflix has lots of productions involving sex as an integral part of the storyline... this little film coming from the Netherlands treats its subject better than many others... there are no weaknesses in this wonderful-charming film... script is spot-on (npi) and every actor never comes up short (npi)
... for every couple having problems in the bedroom.. how many actually-really talk their way into solving issues... how much of the divorce rate could-would be reduced by communicating with the other-partner... it's like a little self-help session for those wanting better in their sex-life.

A truly brilliant performance by Joosje Duk. I cannot wait to see what the future holds as her skillset as an actress, as well as a director, is so versatile.
The way she is able to turn the story of a "simple relationship" in such a manner to eventually open up the conversation about sexual relationships is magnificent. Taboo-shattering is vital in this field and I believe Duk's performance will be a key driving factor to in fact break some of these taboos.
I was also looking forward to Gaite Jansen's performance ever since I watched Peaky Blinders.
She definitely did not disappoint either.

Let me tell you the basic issue here. Communication! She didn't want to hurt him. Once in a lie. "Of her pleasure " she couldn't get her way out of. She didn't want to make him feel inadequate. And yet she was desperately unsatisfied. Maybe her mother taught her to be complacent?! But she loved him. And telling him that she had never gotten off would of made her feel like she was a freak. Like there was something wrong with her. And how could she tell him he was doing everything wrong?!. And yet? How could her body betray her? Shouldn't it just do what he expects? It's so hard to speak up. And in comes Eve. She is comfort with a woman. (She has a best friend and this feels familiar). Eve leaves the door open . Eve says tell me how to please you. Faster / slower/ tell me baby/ tell me what makes you go O. Let it build.

They set out to film a beautiful movie about an authentic relationship that gets complicated due a naive fantasy of a threesome to enhance their love life. They delivered just that. Perfectly executed.
Great soundtrack, directing, camera angles, scenery, acting, etc. The entire dialogue was authentic and honest.
The only reason I'd not recommend the movie to someone is if they get uncomfortable with the subject matter. But if you're open to exploring the concept in a well crafted way, I'd definitely recommend giving this film a shot.
Sweet and short as well. I think they did all they could with the subject and the story delivered a natural arc.
