Can't get any better

It's about Ankara police homicide detective Behzat Ç. Taking on a new case with some characters of the team that we know from the previous seasons.

It's a masterpiece full of sarcastic Ankara slang spoken in the most impressive fashion like a dark poetry. Sadly through subtitles or translation it might not conduct the same effect to the non-native viewers.

Natural acting as always, Erdal Besikçioglu is born to be Behzat Ç.

Screenplay is great as well. Involved mystery, crime and comedy ingredients are so well balanced. The interrogation room one sided mirror scene in the first episode made me cry.

Whatever your genre is, you should give this Behzat Ç. A try.

Best Continuining story ever

I am a fan of this show. I did not expect this part to be soo damn good. It was very Behzat even the old character Harun was not in this show. The actors are as usual good, but the storyline was better than before. It was funny and very deep story. Behzat is older of course but he is good as always. I was always thinking Behzat like Batman =). I hope they will continue like this. The show must continue. The only think that I didnt like the was the over swearing in show. It was ok in the previous ones but in these episodes it was very very öuch and not natural. But overall this show is the best show for me in Turkey. Very thanks to Eörah Serbes to the scenario.

When is enough is enough?

The relationship between the audience and Behzat Ç has always been...significant. While the direction of the emotions shifted the magnitute has always been huge; once a darling for a certain portion of the Turkish audience became a target after its creator went through a difficult phase in his life.

It is also widely accepted that after the show moved to the streaming world it lost some of its magic. With the new "Gül ve Çekiç" series, we once again meet our favorite local crime fighters sans dear Harun whom we almost all adored. We now have Osman Harun as a replacement with similar goofy characteristics but with a darker past. Overall I found the season satisfying because my experience with Behzat is mostly related to Ankara being the centerpiece of the story and it is still undeniably there. But for someone who is not a local or who is less sentimental on the point will not find it hard to come up with problematic issues. For me the biggest issue is the caricaturization of the main figures; all of the personal traits and pecularities were taken to the max, harming the believability of them at many points.

I am not sure if the main story carries the viewer along, for me it did not. I always struggle to buy in the evil characters in Turkish productions and unfortunately this was not an exception. Demirdelens as a family did not resonate to me, neither with their stories nor with the acting.

Finally, sorry to say but Sule has never been a part of the story that I could understand or like but this was the most forced addition of the character into the center of the story; it could unfold so more fluidly without her I felt...

The main problem with Behzat is that he already went through hell, a few times more than a mortal can endure; putting him into similar challenges is nothing but unfair to our memories with him. After all, this is not Mission Impossbile: Bir Ankara Polisiyesi.

We missed Behzat Ç but...

The first seasons of the series were very good. After switching to Blu TV, things went bad. The 3rd season of the Shooting and Rose series is terrible. You know, the season in which Prosecutor Esra returns is truly awful. I can't understand how Emrah Serbes wrote this weirdness. The series has literally turned into the Valley of the Wolves. Behzat Ç always fought against the deep state, but he had a much more realistic tone. Now the dead characters are back. No, the gang leader came from the USA. The man was both crazy and the leader of the biggest gang. Nonsense.

Disappointing Sequel

Why did you release a new series if you didn't have a new story to tell?

Every aspect of the scenario is so cliche, even the overly repeated slangs are exactly the same. What is this ? A new kind of Recep Ivedik show? Nothing new, nothing smart, nothing mind twisting. Is this the limit of your creativity and imagination?

The only new thing is the absence of Harun (which is one of the cornerstones of the team) and the inclusion of new prosecuter of whom seem like a little bit surreal even for Behzat. C concept. Most of the time I find myself saying "Purely written scenario, but lets continue watching it for the sake of Behzat-C".

It feels like just a follow up series for further milking the existing fan-base.

Sorry to say that, this seems to be the end of Behzat. C. franchise.wr.
