VeggieTales: Very Veggie Silly Stories

I was very upset with the original creators getting fired, they've been part of Big Idea for so long ans ive been a big fan of Bigidea for all my life and now NBCUniversal has to ruin VeggieTales, the 25 Favorite Songs Albums, VeggieTales Personalized CD, VeggieTales in the House, Deja Grape, God Made you Special were all bad enough and now VT gets worse to recast the characters and i was so disgusted to hear the characters new voices, things could of gone better with Phil Vischer in charge but no, i also wasnt interested to hear the new things the podcast added in that part of the original series, shame on you NBCUniversal!

Our family (kids ages 7 & 5) have thoroughly enjoyed these episodes, and they've been on repeat in the car for a while. Initially I figured this would just be a re-packaged version of old Veggie Tales episodes, but it's all new content. They really committed to the podcast format and delivered a great mix of fun/silly stories for kids while also addressing real-life issues and challenges. Most episodes include a bible verse or two to reinforce the lesson they're teaching.

The production quality is excellent, and their use of sound effects and voice actors makes the stories really immersive. There are also some classic Veggie Tales songs that get featured for some nostalgia, along with some hilarious pop culture references for the adults listening in.

I think this is one of the best kids podcasts I've come across. Give it a listen.
