Mergatory

I love the show again. The cast is much better than last few seasons. But not all time great.

The show seems to have gotten back into its roots of how to film the show and the balance of what gets filmed.

The advantages seem to persist from the setup the past few seasons where they are given out Oprah style. You get an idol, you get an idol, and everyone gets an idol. And they are often left in mundane locations. It gets hard to track who has all these advantages. I specially when you are trying to still learn everyone's name. As no real standouts.

The 3 tribes and accelerated schedule is not great either. By the time merge happens it doesn't even feel earned or as an accomplishment.

But at this point, I'm happy to have the show self correct from several years in very recent history that were horrific.
