Unprecedented

This documentary has been hyped as a smoking gun for 45's involvement in planning the insurection.

Either the raw footage contains the key information or we've been duped.

It's still an interesting insight into the campaign, but not at all revealing. It's heavily managed and has no revelations or gotcha moments.

It is a well-made documentary, and seems to sum up what I have already seen with my own eyes. Unfortunately, I didn't learn anything new (having watched the three episodes available thus far).

It would be nice to see the outtakes.

Great footage and a look behind the scenes. Totally confused format. Every few minutes, the footage is interrupted by biased and partisan statements from leftist journalists that bring no new information, just their more or less veiled digs at Trump and his family. This is repeated over and over again. Discredited journalists representing a discredited mainstream media that nobody trusts anymore, unnecessarily drag down the value of the documentary and stretch the time, their statements are like audio noise. They add a supposedly objective context and frame, but nobody can believe that anymore. Sure there could have been criticism of Trump in the documentary, that's fine, but from at least somewhat relevant people and with at least a semblance of a balance of perspectives.

This was a surprisingly unremarkable.

If you've followed the congressional hearings, this will likely be a waste of your time. I found the 3rd episode interesting, in a terrifying way. It's always shocking to see how devoted and brainwashed his followers are. The filmmaker captured great footage of the insurrectionists I hadn't seen before, showing the level of adoration and worship they had for that sick man. It didn't even take intelligence or charisma to manipulate his victims. It just took an unhinged narcissistic man with a platform and loudmouth to continue to repeat the same debunked lie over and over again. Well, that and an entire team of enablers who are just as guilty as he is, if not more so.

I rated it a 7 because of episode 3 and because the Trumpists are going to rate it a 1 w/o watching it, and I think it has value if you haven't been staying up to date with the hearings. I'm assuming we'll see more of the footage at some point; hopefully during his criminal trial(s).

The description of the documentary speaks of the unrepresented access to the First Family and Trump himself, but constantly cuts back to talking heads who seem to only speak about their own feelings and throries on how the Trump family works.

Just show the Trumps as they are and let people see for themselves how they are. Why have people outside the family speak to the family dynamics like they know how they operate and how they reacted to how the election was lost?
