I loved the old flipping show with his ex-wife. But this one just sucks! They spend more time kissing and Tweeting for publicity than working on the flip. And I don't need to see their 'feel the baby' game every five minutes. I was just highly disappointed.
And the wife. She's supposed to be a realtor but she's totally clueless about how much it costs to renovate houses. How is that possible? I think we've been lied to on this.
And multi-million dollar flips? I want to see homes that I could aspire to own one day. I don't want to see a $2+ Million dollar home that they're fixing up to sell for $3+ Million. Regular people can barely cover the bills and buy groceries these days. I think it was just the wrong time to do a flipping show catering to Millionaires.

I loved the original Flip or Flop and frequently watch the reruns. Great LA scenery, beautifully filmed and produced, interesting properties and contractors with intriguing hosts. This is about as far as you can get from Flip or Flop with the same cast of characters (excepting one big one). It's not the loss of Christina per se, it's the focus of the show. The original focus was on the challenge of making money under unexpected conditions and trying circumstances. The focus of this show is the trip to the gynecologist for Heather Rae. And at the end of the hour, we don't even know if they turned a profit. I'd love to rant more but I've hit my minimum word limit. I will not watch this show again.
A case where someone allowed 2 large egos to create a show about themselves. Heather comes across as unintelligent and uninteresting with no real ideas. The first house was nothing worthy of a show. The design aspects are typical, I was surprised how simple and uninspired the primary bathroom was. Heathers idea to raise the roof shows a lack of understanding mid century architecture. Not showing the price the house sold for leaves the audience out of the story line and the whole purpose is to invite us into the process. This show failed on so many levels. I was surhow bad it was. I loved flip or flop, this is just flop.
This needs to go away soon.

So the only reason I would even consider giving this 2 stars is because I love Jeff and Izzy. How about lets leave Heather out and have Jeff and Izzy flip houses? Sorry but I think that this show is more about watching the new Mrs. El Moussa asking for what she wants and pouting and simpering to get her way. It's more sickly sweet flirtatious behavior than it is about the actual ins and outs of flipping houses. I used to like the parts in the former show about designing and weighing the ups and downs of doing the homes one way or doing things another way. The first show were Tariq sings his wife's praises for designing confuses me since they have their inhouse designer doing the majority of the design. All I saw that she did was mover into Tariq's office flirt giggle and simper. She's likely a great person, but I just didn't make much of a connection with her. And in the first episode when she was swatting bugs the pug away from her while they discussed the price of the house It was done. DON'T SAY YOU DESIGN SOMETHING WHEN YOU HIRE A DESIGNER TO DO IT.
Although I usually like Tarek, I find everything about her extremely annoying - her voice, her "glamorous" look, how little she actually brings to the show. Despite his talking about her 'amazing' ability to style the houses, they have actually brought in someone to do that and all she does is agree with him. Why is she even involved with the show? I watched his other shows as I found the actual work on the houses interesting, I couldn't possibly care less about her pregnancy saga. I also find his self-promoting of his business aggravating. I started to count how many times he says "Tarek buys houses". On his "Flipping 101" show, he stresses how the flippers need to be there, overseeing every part of the flip. But on this show, they don't show up for weeks and are then surprised how little is done. I watched the first 2 but won't watch any other.
