This anime series is set floating mega city in the Pacific called Bayron City. It comes under the jurisdiction of no country and is the centre for the mining of Orgonium; a newly discovered energy source. There are problems though; demons known as D-Hazards have been causing trouble and they appear to be increasing. Various private companies hunt these demons and this series is centred on a small outfit led by Shu Ogata; he is helped by Kisara; a school girl who is also a demon.
Every season there are shows that look promising and while you watch them you think are okay but then you forget about them as soon as they are over; occasionally one is forgettable in the week between episodes... sadly I found this to be one of those. It isn't a bad show, it just doesn't stand out... hopefully things will be better for new viewers who no longer have to wait between episodes. One the plus side the character designs are solid, the animation is pretty good and there is some decent action. Overall I can't recommend it but would say if you like the genre watch a few episodes and see what you feel about it.
