During a boys night in binge watching High School Musical, the TV begins to have some technical difficulties. In this Jumanji style episode, the boys are sucked into the TV and forced to perform "Fabulous" from Disney's High School Musical 2. But there's a twist.

During a duet rehearsal at Millennium Dance Complex Salt Lake City, students daydream the perfect date. Today's Troy and Gabriella dance through downtown Salt Lake, the rooftops of Trolley Square, and the pumpkin patches of Kuwahara Farms. A lip-lock in the rain takes them back to their reality, the dance studio.

Students of the East High Drama department, now directed by Mrs. Danforth, Chad's mom from the Original High School Musical 3 are challenged to a HSM themed assignment. Melanie, the teacher's pet is paired up with Kole, the low life skater boy. They are both up against foreign exchange phenomenons Gretta and Klaus. The winner of the battle will get to perform at East High's Spring Showcase. Who will Win?

The plot thickens as the competition begins. Gretta and Klaus are throwing tricks out of their back pocket while Melanie and Kole struggle to execute a simple step. Melanie, overly ambitious as always wants to do a stunt with Kole. The stunt does not go as planned and Melanie falls to her sleep. The competition continues in Melanie's dream but is interrupted by Gretta and Klaus. They battle in front of a live audience for the spotlight.
