This was not at all what I was expecting after Nathan For You. This show was just incredible.
I teared up multiple times in this episode. The ending left me with all this emotion. Its profound really.
I hope The Rehearsal wins an Emmy. It's so deserving.

I watched so many movies, shows.. and I always listen to music.. but when I watch this show.. It gives me feelings I've never had.. It is obvious and mysterious in the same time.. I consider this show as an Art.
Nathan does it again, delivering top ground breaking TV, that'll make you feel you watched something special. Isn't that what TV is all about?
The episode.
Nathan goes deeper into his persona that graduated with high grades. He asks a mother if her 6 year old child knows what acting is, ponders that the natural layout of a house with children is art, pretends to be a father to a man pretending to be a child, and to a doll, and basically steals a mother and her fatherless child's behaviours and hires a kid for them to incorporate the behaviours.
This is madness.
Flipping the coin, in the middle of the episode he manages to explain to a child, who is confused about him not being his daddy (meaning the rehearsal with Nathan should have worked wonderfully), that he is not his daddy with a metaphor. It was truly smart, evoking the shared loved experience of pretending to be a dinossaur and playing, and saying that what they were doing was the same. I can't think of a better way to explain this. It saved a lot of potential therapy.
This is the opposite of madness.
It's a profound piece of TV really anyone can enjoy and learn something.

Okay, Nathan. Do stop being so adorable and funny. Omg I love this show. I'm sorry for no actual review here, just fan girling. I don't want this show to stop, please!! I love how this show has been developing just with a few episodes. The blur of reality is incredibly captivating and hilarious. Nathan, don't know how you do it, but please continually give us more of your content and we will be blessed.
This episode was the icing on the cake. Their are so many morals this episode dives into that Nathan was able to take us on a journey I just was not expecting. The season finale was definitely the bail in the coffin for making this show a one of a kind. He has done it again for making a masterpiece but this time taking the route of a drama rather than comedy. 10/10 episode and will be a surreal 30 minute episode that will teach you things you didn't know you needed to learn. Thanks Nathan for this work of art.
