A film that not only circumvents the traditional path of film-making and film-releasing, but also outright opposes its standards in matter of budget, crew, corporate seal, glossiness and wrapping, emulative ambition, and sterile conformity. The film re-interrogates the nature of the cinema, its function and meaning, and critically provokes a re-thinking of the purpose and practices of contemporary film-making and art in general in relation to contemporary social issues impacting our lives.
