Though casting was open to Ottawa residents only, the cast come from very diverse backgrounds. In fact, 70% of the cast & crew aren't born and raised in Ottawa: Cody Banman hails from Calgary, Maxwell Brennan from Kemptville, Simon and Zack Boniface from Nova Scotia, and Ziad Ghazi and Tarek Kamali originally from Tripoli (Lebanon).
