Airport 24/7: Miami

6/10

Airport 24/7 Miami could be a decent show...

Airport 24/7 Miami could be a great show if they didn't treat the audience like their stupid or create fake drama. "This is the famous box cutter that was used on 9/11, well not the actual one, but one like it". Really? We know what a box cutter is. The show is enjoyable at times when you cut the filler. The TSA manager (female) is beyond annoying and really doesn't do anything except add fake drama. If this show had more steak and less sizzle, it would get a much higher rating. The producers should consider restructuring this show in a manner similar to Alaska State Troopers or other similar shows, and should also cut down on the misleading editing.

Pretty Good for a scripted Reality

I have never worked MIA (Miami), but this seems to be a fairly realistic show about what the airport employees face every day. I realize that each episode is not exactly as things have happened but a representation of different issues. It would be difficult to make this show about MIA to be an exact replica of 24 hours continuously as who wants to watch the full 24 hours? What I find most realistic is how and what the security employees have to face and do when situations arise. Perhaps this will help to clarify why the TSA does what they do and help educate people about the tasks, duties and responsibilities that they are employed to facilitate. They are responsible for our flying safety. Since 911, we live in a different world and for that I think we all know who caused this change in our flying experiences.
