The Vampires: The Ring That Kills

1 review
8/10

Ch. 2

This 13-minutes long, second and shortest chapter in the Les Vampires serial was released on the same day as part one.

Philippe's "fiancée" Marfa, in a black body stocking and bat wings, is introduced in this chapter, prancing and floating about on-stage before an audience, before collapsing. Panic ensues, as the crowd of people leave the theatre in droves, one of the is believed to be Dr. Nox. A chase leads to a deserted fort and a kidnapping of Philippe. One of the kidnappers is revealed to be an acquaintance of his, who agrees to spare his life and help him capture the ringleader of his kidnapping.

This shortest of the chapters is basically broken up into two scenes, and it doesn't really have much to say, except when it gets to the second scene in the last five minutes, when it picks up a lot with a good climactic fight, when Les Vampires end up accidentally executing their own leader.
