The story opens by the group of heroes kicking out Rein Shroud because of him being a beast tamer. He then proceeds to join the adventurous guild.

Rein enjoys his new adventurer job, with Kanade as his partner. However, Rein is pricing quite an oddball with his skills.

Rein is asked to deal with hooligan beating up people at a bridge, benkei style. This leads to meeting a new ultimate species whose ego leads to a fight.

Rein starts learning the benefits of taming ultimate species. Tania starts to realize how she feels about her new life.

Rein and his new friends are forced to reckon with the Hero's party who want him for their own purposes.

The search for the artifact leads Rein, Tania and Kanade to meet a fairy. And boy does she have a tale for them.

Rein takes on the request to save Sora's sister Luna; from an undead immune to magic.

Rein needs a new weapon and commissions a Dwarf to make one. However, the mithril he needs for it has been mysteriously vanishing. Looks like a job for Rein.

Rein and his friends capture most of the thieves. However, a fellow beast tamer is their last straggler. And he has a really nasty surprise up his sleeve.

Rein attempts to report the vile son of the town Lord to the knights; however, most of them are on the take. He then meets vice captain Stella, whom is one of the few chivalrous knights left.

Learning the lord's son is responsible for the corruption in Horizon, Rein teams up with the righteous vice captain to detain the corrupt Knights and take down the lord. At the same time, Arios has a stupid idea for revenge on Rein.

Thanks to Arios's idiocy a demon is reborn and attacks Horizon. Tania and Kanade attacks its minions, while the twins evacuate the town. Can Rein overcome his demon trauma and fight this vile creature?

Horizon is now safe and properly protected, with the corrupt lord and Knights arrested. Rein and the girls decide to live in town permanently and head out to look for a house.
