Al Wayne is trying to live his peaceful farmer life, but a dragon and a demon horde is getting in his way, threatening his means of delivering his produce. He discovers abnormal effects of maxing out his farming levels. And a pesky princess is trying to recruit him for guard duty..

Al receives a plot of land as a reward for saving the kingdom. He enrolls in the adventures guild. On his first assignment for the guild, he encounters an ominous black dragon. His peaceful days as a farmer is slowly drifting away.

Learning the terrible secrets of the black Dragon, Al and the princess rush back to try to save Helen and the capitol.

Al is saved by Mirage who reveals Helen is possessed by Ouroboros and so grants Al his purification magic to heal his injury.

Ruri offers to escort Al to Lurugus. Reaching Lurugus, Ruri is saddened by their separation, so Al asks her to escort him home again in a week. Al visits his parents; his overly-doting mother Lucica and muscle-bound farmer father Gilles.

A demon named Loki, interested in Al after his victory over Romeo and Ouroboros, seeks to eliminate those who could prevent the next Demon King's ascension. His targets include Ruri and Helen, who absorbed Ouroboros' strength.

Fal-Ys has a difficult conversation with her father. Al learns monster attacks have halted all inter-kingdom trading with many people now starving. The monsters are driven away by Prince Nedilus of Antisberg Kingdom, wielding the sacred sword Lævateinn. Fal-Ys abruptly informs Al she is leaving Meigis forever.

Al, Helen and Ruri sneak into Antisberg intending to rescue Gazel's sweetheart so Gazel will be free.

Fifteen years ago a young orphan named Ilvia was forced to steal crops to survive. Farmers caught her by surprise and decided to sold her to the slave traders but Al's parents paid for everything she stole and adopted Ilvia.

A girl named Linea requests an adventurer investigate something wrong with her town of Gal. Al volunteers, hoping to examine the Aspara vegetable grown in Gal.

Al saves a young girl, Yuria, from kidnappers. She's revealed to be the Demon King's daughter and heir. Her caretaker teleported her away due to danger. Yuria seeks Al's help to escort her home across the ocean.

Ilvia, resurrected by the Evil God with immense powers, discloses that Al's formidable Lover of Nature skill was a gift from the same deity he unknowingly encountered, demanding his allegiance.
