In an isolated fishing village on the Aegean, unemployed fishermen gather in a small tavern. Temporarily incapacitated by the unending Etesian winds and the destructive impact of bycatch, the worried men seek a solution to the pressing issue of prolonged unemployment. Instead, they find themselves at a standstill. As they try to find shreds of hope, a fellow fisherman suddenly takes the stage and starts to recount a captivating story from bygone times. But the more he unfolds the tale of the boy and the dolphin, the more the line between reality and fantasy blurs. And the question remains. Why don't we all do our part to protect some of the most endangered marine life in the world?
