Almost everything about this movie screams "bush league". I'm not sure why because the studio has lots of credits. The acting is poor. The dialogue is flat. The sets are cheap. The background music at least is not distracting.
The story has some originality, but that is partly because of how silly it is. Jessica has not done well dating and because at least 4 of her exes have ended up married to their next girlfriend, a rumor starts that Jessica is a lucky charm. Jessica goes to the latest wedding and as a baker, she has baked the cake also. Jessica hears the rumor that this bride consciously took advantage of the rumor, so Jessica walks out with the wedding cake because she is insulted. It is kind of cute gag and worth a laugh. But it is also ridiculous, as is the fairly low key reaction at least among the people involved. After this, I can't begin to describe the story except that it involves fake dating. Much of what happens is likewise stupid. I will say on the positive side that the story has some moments that could be worth a laugh or two and despite a couple of common tropes, it has a unique feel to it.
There is no chemistry between the leads. Their dialogue has no spark. In fact it is almost lifeless. Even the ending lacks any real life.

Christmas Lucky Charm/s (2022) -
Blink and you will miss the moment that the two leads, Adrian Spencer as Mitch and Jessica, played by Sugenja Sri, see each other at the wedding, which made their next conversation a bit odd if you hadn't spotted it, like me.
I didn't think that either of the two gallery owners, Mitch or Liam (Ish Morris), were all that. Neither of them had a lot of charisma or looks and Liam was kind of slimey, while Mitch looked like he was badly covering up two black eyes.
Jessica on the other hand had a terrible wardrobe and I couldn't understand why? - It was really hideous!
But the two lead characters were okay to deliver the story.
Mrs. Barnett, played by Theresa Tova was far too much. And Aunty Frankie (Sonia Dhillon Tully) was over the top too. Whereas Natasha (Andrea Senior) was just not enough, she could not act for toffee.
All that aside, the story was cute and romantic with feeling and just enough Christmas, but none of it was so good that I would want to see it again and Mitch certainly wasn't attractive enough to me.
4.25/10.
