    It just stopped

I want to write a review so I came here specifically to do that. I am disappointed. This show was so good and it just stopped out of no where. I am sad about that. I was excited to be listening to something that was different and about something really important to me. It was being done in a tasteful way too. I was hoping it would take off. I see that John is already into making a new podcast rather than finishing Metronome and I am kind of upset by that because the show ended on a cliffhanger. I know he promised to release the remaining scripts for everyone to read but that's not the same. I don't know if I will tune into Nothing But The Truth because it doesn't sound as up my alley as this one was. I just wish it was finished. It says on Wikipedia that the show was cancelled. I just wish he told us why?

It is noteworthy for standing out, but will it stand the test of time?

I have seen a few people on podcasting forums discussing this show and I wanted to give it a listen myself.

    Hyped up? Definitely.

Amazing? Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

    Bad? Not at all.

It might be too early to tell, but the show seems to have the promise of a creator who is actively involved in the production of the show as well. This is opposed to some creators who pass their works off to a team of sound designers and producers, and I find the creator-involved route typically is a good sign for plot-development.

The first episode was really odd. I will admit to having to partake in active listening to follow along with the devices used to tell the story. This is not to say that it was being told in a confusing way, or a way that is hard to decrypt, but rather it set the show in a contrasting light to the majority it's fiction-storytelling podcast peers. To explain, I find most fiction-storytelling podcasts to be lowbrow and very high concept.. and while the description on here of the show is accurate to say the least (regarding crudeness), I can already tell that the creator of the show isn't new to developing storylines, and I want to also compliment them on their pacing. It was perfectly paced.

I am going to have to come back around to this review after the season ends. I have never reviewed a podcast on IMDb before. Weird but I'm loving it. Jaja.
