Great ππ»
It's based on BJP MLA
Kuldeep singh sengar from Unnao rape case.
I really enjoyed watching this movie.
Background music good All actor are doing great job.
An honest take on the state of rape survivors in the country, for whom the pursuit for justice is often more tortuous than the crime itself, Siya opens a window to a disturbing space that is not covered by government data and news headlines.
The film marks the directorial debut of Manish Mundra who has produced a string of powerful independent films. The shadow of the Unnao and Hathras rape cases are unmistakable, but Manish opts to look beyond the nuts and bolts of the crime to paint the larger picture.

Hatts off to the director. A phenomenal Movie executed wonderfully. It really leaves you wondering is there any hope in today's world. It shows dark reality of how politicians or any powerful person can get any with anything. It shows the will power of a rape victim against all odds. A must must watch movie. Brought tears into my eyes. This movie should be applauded and appreciated. Its real art. Actors also did such a good job at portraying the strong character. I didn't expect much from this movie but It left me completely speechless. Just wow. It has potential to win many many awards even in international platform.
Finally I can say that bollywood has a good movie I've just watched this movie it really blew my mind, siya gave best message I didn't think movie could be that good I literally enjoyed the movie throughout, even I've also cried in many scenes both lead actor played amazing performance vineet kumar and pooja pandey,
As we've already seen vineet in other movies he's really talented, siya made film with passion
that exceeds expectations What a picture cinema at its finest siya is the high energy funny exhilarating, this film is really emotional I don't want to give any spoilers a girl who got gang raped and she fought she didn't give up and in her supporting role vineet played an outstanding performance, main thing about this film Whoever is rapist should be punished, he has no right to live, he should get only death, this is the best message of film,
If you walked in to watch siya" (as I did) confident that you knew what was in store, not expecting to be surprised you'd be right and wrong, What a legend is vineet kumar singh
A movie that deserve 10/10, you will also agree when you watch this movie this movie deserve best movie of the year, must watch this great film if you like the trailer..
This is the kind of movie which bollywood needs and really appreciate the direction of the movie. It should create an awareness in the society so that this cruel act should never occur in this society again. Law makers should make stronger law to protect our innocent girls and make. Really heart touching story and loved each character played in that movies. But the ending made me cry and couldn't stop myself from crying. Especially when the heartbeat stopped. This is shame on each and everyone of us they still after 75 years of independence we are seeing this kind of story and sad part is the politicians are responsible for that.
Siya is a drama film directed by manish mundra.
Pooja pandey and vineet kumar singh have acted with great application. Vineet is anyway a wonderful actor, but pooja in a difficult role did her part nicely. Other actors were good. They did not have much material to act.
The first shot of the film is a metaphorical one. A long sequence at night, where a sister is narrating a story to his little brother about courage and wits, is a foreshadow of the things about to happen. The first half's writing too is very good. Its engaging and takes one step at a time, making a commentary on caste, police negligence. From the second half, the film starts to deviate. It looked as if the film was in a dilemma whether to show the futility of justice or the procedural to the way of justice. As a result, neither of the things hit us anywhere. Things happen without any closing scene, too many loose ends.
The music is decent. The two songs in the second half are lyrically very touching. One of them is a doha. The background score has been used minimal, mainly the drama of the scene is kept at the forefront. The dialogues are good. At one point, siya herself states "aisi nyay ka kya fayda jise dekhne koi zinda hi na ho." That was a major twist in the film. The film took the route of an open end, which i don't complain about. But the loose ends could have been dealt better.
The sequences of siya's misery is horrific to watch, and its tough to sit through. The film is very raw and gritty for anyone. That's where its negatives feel lighter to its positives. I rate it 8.5 out of 10.
