Everyhing in this low budget clishé movie is overused to the point of losing all meaning.
Made me want to cancel Netflix subscription.
This cliché romance cheating wife movie relies heavily on tired tropes and predictable plot twists, failing to offer any originality or depth. The characters are one-dimensional, the dialogue feels forced, and the emotional stakes are undermined by shallow storytelling. The portrayal of infidelity lacks nuance, reducing complex human relationships to superficial melodrama. Overall, it's a forgettable and uninspired addition to the genre, offering little substance or genuine insight into the complexities of love and betrayal.

This film would be perfect for someone I knew a few years ago...she was in her mid-40s, had an Instagram account, did that lip smacking thing probably because she thought it was sexy, and worst of all attended Drake concerts.

On a serious note, objectively aligning my mindset with the desired target audience the film does what it says on the tin. You don't watch Jason Statham movies (excluding London) for the stellar acting. You watch it because you know what to expect. On that note I'd give it a 4.
The production quality is excellent.
The lead actress did a good job.
Honestly, I'm a little baffled to the low reviews. Are we rating based on quality or our own subjective taste? If that's the case then I'd give those brilliant Pixar animations 2's all days long. Can't stand sitting through them blasted Animations with the kids, however, I recognise quality when I see it!
Not to get carried away, even in this niche this film isn't great but it certainly isn't awful.
Target Audience:
- Divorced, seperated, unhappily married
- Over 35
- Have an interest in romance novels
- Enjoy cliche Turkish dramas

Good director(Erdem Tepegoz), good scenarist(Erdi Isik), wonderfull cast(Funda Eryigit, Alperen Korkmaz, Mehmet Gunsur)...unfortunately the result is not satisfactory. The idea of the plot is interesting . But i think that the screenplay is written in a hurry.. needs elaboration and more toughts. On the other hand the characters are not well developed. They are unidimensional. The link with Anna Karenina is ridiculous . Laughed a lot at the final scene. We are not expecting art movies from Netflix but we still deserve better works. As i've mentioned earlier most of the latest contents of Netflix started to be below average.
The movie characters are just copies of countless cliches, acting is bland and the scenario feels like an attempt of a romantic movie by a generative AI. The cheating wife has been overused, the life they show you is not realistic.
There is no character development other than sprinkling some cliches on each character. The wife owns a cute shop, the other man is a mysterious, poor but trustworthy person.
If I was an actor I would be ashamed to be part of something like this. I would stop writing if I was the writer behind this. I would stop directing movies if I was the director who filmed this.

In the movie, Türkiye and Turks are pictured as if they are Iranians, Araps or Afgans.
Balat is a very nice part of the city. In Balat you can find very modern coffees, chef's restaurants, beautiful scenery of Halic. It is not a place where you can buy spices, it is not a spice bazaar. It is very disgusting to show places and people in a way where the truth is not reflected.
The movie itself is also horrible. Characters are very superficial. A lonely rich woman, a rich and busy man, a wild and poor man. These are the prototypes and even a normal person can write such a text with these superficial characters. I wanted to rate it with a zero but it is not possible. Horrible.
