In Your Dreams

This romantic fantasy film narrates the story of two adults, who don't believe in getting into a committed relationship, basically to get into marriage. One owns a construction company, a big wig of sorts and the other working at a wedding management company. One night, they come across each other and thus, begins the journey of their life together, 2 years apart for a day. A singular dream they both wake up into and how the duo find each other to be their perfect partner forms the story.

This doesn't provide anything innovative as romantic films like this exists already. It's convenient writing to have the couple wake up into each phase of their lives together to build the romance. It starts off well as the two leads are charming and once the time jumps begin, it is the lead pair chemistry that mostly saves this film. The writing keeps getting predictable and dialogues cheesier. For one, the film is in Turkish so it was fun to watch a Turkish film with this concept and even though it doesn't try that hard to stand apart from similar films, it still has enough to be a watchable one despite the prolonged climax.

It was one of the best romantic comedy movies I've ever watched. I don't know how many times I've watched this. I hope there will be a second movie or another movie like this. After the movie, I wanted to sleep for hours. I tried to wait for it to be 2:41. I'm usually not that impressed with movies, but this movie was completely different. Last night I dreamed that the second part of the movie would be released. If you are bored or can't find anything to watch, you can definitely watch this movie. It is both sufficient in duration and very entertaining in terms of subject matter. Thanks for reading, enjoy watching!

Excellent ! Great Acting, great story , great comedy and mystery . This kind of films are really interesting. I was in a bad mood and almost depressed. Decided to watch it and ... WOW ! Amazing story . Turkey has been creating Excellent Movies and Series in 2023 . What a good Progress For Turkey ! Very good atmosphere and mood ; great cameraman that I really Enjoyed Scenes . Made me more hopeful for life. Off Offcourse it deserves at least 8 . Great mood and lessons of life and comedy , etcetera ... What do you want more ?

This movie may have started of chaotic, but it surprised me in the best way. This love story showed that your person can bring out the best in you, and that you have to trust your gut. Pain, love, beauty, loss, hope, excitement are all the things that this film takes you through. True love is not about who you can do it with, but the person who you feel that you can't do life without. I'm just glad that this had a very happy ending. I would have definitely been crushed if for whatever reason it didn't pan out for them. Pelin and Engin were beautifully portrayed and made this love story real for me! Bravo.

Great scenes of Istanbul surrounding a slow burn love story with characters of great depth and passion. The back story includes the regeneration of the city of Istanbul and its need retain the character and memories of the past. The lead male character undergoes a similar transition as his work life runs into a need to retain meaning and values in his own personal life. The female is lead is beautiful but also intent upon finding meaning and truth in both her professional and personal lives. The families of both characters play an important roles in helping both individuals find happiness and meaning.
