Groot Takes a Bath

Baby Groot showed no mercy to that... Whatever it was. Definitely the best episode, at least out of the first four. Certainly way better than I thought it would be!

Groot takes a bath in 'Groot Takes A Bath (2022)', one of five short films focusing on the quick-fire escapades of the eponymous infant tree. A couple of enjoyable visuals elevate this mostly generic outing above at least a couple of its peers, but it's still just fine overall. It's harmless fluff, really. Its narrative is fairly entertaining, principally because it isn't drawn out, and its jokes are conceptually sound, even if they rarely land as well as they ought to. It's as difficult to overtly like as it is to overtly dislike, though, because there's very little to it. Still, its fleeting charm is likely to appeal to fans of its focal character.

I think this short is stunning in terms of visuals. It's funny and enjoyable even if it's only 3-4 minutes. I'd have to say this is my 2nd or 3rd favourite.
