No pun intended - I reckon one can be jolly (and happy and all that) all year around ... even before and/or around Easter time ... if you celebrate that is. I reckon you can just have free time (off work) ... you don't have to be religious ... same is true for Christmas. Maybe you even say happy holidays. Nothing wrong with that.
And if you see how dysfunctional families can be around that time (this show) ... maybe it makes more sense to not celebrate .. at all. The actors are having fun - you may know some of them. The stories are ... quite out there and may not make too much sense ... but who really cares if you can have some fun with it. Again I did not expect too much and that was sufficient I reckon ... seen worse television for sure ...

The series was very embarrassing and unfunny.
I had the feeling that they were trying to imitate "my bride, her father and I".
Grandma (was the most annoying character for me), anton's parents, anton and Johanna were played really badly.
The actor who played Anton sometimes reacted strangely in certain situations. Not like a normal person.
When Johanna tells him that her parents think he's a doctor, he looks out of the car window with exaggerated suffering.
I found the sister strange. In the first scene with her she was an overly arrogant rich woman. And from the cottage she was relaxed and quite affable.
2 stars for the fact that the series was over quickly and the location was super pretty.
